What if my contractor says your drawings are wrong or incomplete?
Our construction drawings are produced to professional standards and include all information a competent contractor needs to build without ambiguity. If a contractor raises a legitimate technical query, we respond directly and issue a revised drawing at no additional cost. If a contractor simply prefers to work from their own sketch — which is common in Pakistan — that is a contractor management issue, not a drawing quality issue. We can advise you on how to handle it.
Do I still need a local architect in Pakistan if I hire ARJ Studio?
For map approval submissions in most housing societies and authorities, the drawings must be signed and stamped by a Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners (PCATP) registered architect. Arj Masood can advise on this requirement for your specific society. In many cases we coordinate directly with a local liaison for the submission process. You will not need to manage this yourself.
How do you handle site visits when you are a remote studio?
We design from your plot file, dimensions, society bylaws, and site photographs — the same information a local architect would use at the design stage. Physical site visits are not required for the architectural design and documentation phase. If your project reaches a stage where a site visit adds genuine value, we will discuss options including coordinating with a trusted local professional on your behalf.
What if I don't like the first concept design?
Nothing advances without your explicit approval. The concept stage includes up to three consolidated revision rounds — you review, give written feedback, and we revise. If the direction is genuinely wrong after revisions, we have a structured reset process. We have never delivered a final documentation package to a client who was not satisfied with the design. The payment schedule is structured specifically to protect you — you only advance to the next stage once you approve the current one.
How do we communicate and how often will I hear from you?
WhatsApp is our primary channel for day-to-day communication — it works across all time zones and keeps everything in one thread. Scheduled milestone reviews happen over video call. You will receive a written summary after every review session confirming what was approved and what comes next. We do not go silent between milestones — if you send a message, you get a response within 24 hours on any active project.
Can I request revisions after the design is approved?
Revisions within the agreed revision rounds are included at each stage. Changes requested after a stage has been formally approved — particularly major spatial changes or programme additions — are treated as additional scope and quoted separately. This protects your budget and our timeline. We document every approval in writing precisely so there is never ambiguity about what was agreed.
Are your drawings compliant with local standards in Pakistan, UAE, and Australia?
Yes. Our drawings are produced to the standards required by the relevant authority for each project — KDA, DHA, LDA, and other Pakistan housing authorities, as well as international building codes for our Australian and Canadian projects. We have delivered approved documentation across Pakistan, Western Australia, and Saskatchewan. If your society or authority has specific submission requirements, share them with us and we incorporate them from the start.
What exactly do I receive at the end of the project?
A complete, construction-ready documentation package delivered in PDF and CAD format. Depending on your scope this includes: all floor plans, building elevations, sections, roof plan, door and window schedule, staircase drawings, ceiling coordination, flooring layout, kitchen and bathroom planning, and selected internal details. For packages that include 3D visualisation, you receive high-resolution rendered images. Everything is labelled, dimensioned, and ready to hand to your contractor and submit for approval.
